From Skepticism to Success: Svenja’s Unfiltered Take on Her Online MVP Program Journey
Apr 03, 2025There’s something incredibly powerful about hearing a training journey straight from the student—no filters, no fluff, just real honesty about the challenges, doubts, and triumphs along the way.
When Svenja first joined our program, she came with years of dog sport experience, a sharp eye for technique, and—like many of us—a few reservations about whether online training could really deliver the kind of partnership she wanted with her dog.
What unfolded was more than just progress. It was a shift in mindset, a deeper connection with her dog, and proof that great training isn’t about having endless hours or perfect conditions—it’s about consistency, clarity, and joy in the process.
Her words below aren’t a polished testimonial. They’re a raw, heartfelt reflection on what changed for her and Malo—and why she now believes in a different way of training.
We’re honored to share her story, in her own voice.
"The time has come and I am already submitting my last order...
It's incredible what has happened in the last year and how far we've already come. I'm certainly not there yet, but I'm really looking forward to the road ahead.
I would like to thank everyone here for their tips and advice and their willingness to help. When I had no motivation to train, all I had to do was watch some of your videos and I wanted to take my dog out.
I have to admit that at the beginning I was a bit skeptical about how it would all work with just the videos and online coaching. But I have always trained Malo on my own and have learned so much about myself, my energy, my abilities and how to analyze the dog. The program is super structured and I have learned so much more in this time.
Malo is now 15 months old and can move and use his body better than my old dog ever could (IGP3). We still have a long way to go and I have high expectations of myself. It's incredible how quickly the dog can learn something once I've found the right way to show him. I have been in dog sports for several years and have always been very technical. It is always a great challenge for me to work spontaneously and from the gut. But with music, I'm always more in the flow.
I have started to question a lot of things and with every new exercise I think about how I can create a win-win situation for the dog. He is now 15 months old and the entire training is going without corrections. This is incredible and is reflected in my dog's motivation and enjoyment of work.
I like so much about my dog, the energy, the joy of working and his expression. He has great focus and is learning more and more every day. me too, by the way 😊
He is getting faster and faster and sometimes even faster than his legs. We are continuing to work on speed, precision and food retrieval.
But also outside, I have never had a dog that walks so well on the leash. It's just so much fun and I enjoy every day with my dog.
I didn't always have a lot of time to train, as I was ill for a while and didn't always have time to go to the dog training ground alongside my job and my 2 great children. But with this program I have learned that there are no excuses. Every feeding is used to train for 2-3 minutes. And this is the result to date. I am incredibly proud of my little dog.
I can't put into words how grateful I am to Nino and Laura for this program. It was the best decision I have made and I am looking forward to everything that is to come. Thank you to everyone else for your support and motivation."
