Every dog owner runs into challenges. The difference is that most methods try to fix the dog with corrections, gadgets, or endless repetitions.
At STSK9, we flip the script: we train you first. Once your skills are clear, your dog follows with structure, focus, and drive.
Here’s how MVP changes the most common struggles:
Hear From Our Students
These are some of the experiences from MVP students with real problems, solved using STSK9 Method.
If your dog pulls on leash, you’re not alone.
In this MVP coaching call, Nino answers a student’s question on leash pulling and shares that with clear structure and the right exercises, you can learn how to guide your dog into walking with focus and connection, and how to make leash pulling a thing of the past.

The MVP Program is designed to meet you where you are, whether you’re starting out with your very first dog or building on years of handling experience.
You don’t need to be a professional to succeed here; the system is built for everyday owners just as much as for aspiring or active trainers. Along the way, you’ll complete guided assignments that naturally weave into your progress, giving you the chance to showcase your skills, receive direct feedback, and learn from the journey of others. For those who enjoy setting milestones, the certification path is there as an encouraging way to mark your growth and gain recognition, but it’s never a requirement.
More than anything, the program is about clarity, connection, and control, practical results that stay with you well beyond the certificate.

Whether you’re just starting out or pushing for mastery, this program gives you the structure and support to become the handler your dog truly needs.

MEETÂ NINO
Hello, I'm Nino, the founder of the STSK9 Method and head trainer. I'll be coaching you through my system, which focuses on developing a unique combination of skills that I've carefully crafted for the Master View Path.
With over 20 years of experience as a Police K9 instructor, team leader, and handler, l've built K9 teams from the ground up and trained handlers to excel in high-stakes environments.
Now I'm dedicating my entire focus to helping handlers and owners around the world master these skills so they can train their dogs better, faster, and more efficiently.

MEET LAURA
Hi, I'm Laura! My journey started as an MVP student with my three year old Golden Retriever, who didn't have a strong drive at the start. I quickly fell in love with the STSK9 method, took it seriously, and gained all the skills I needed to achieve extraordinary results in just six months. Thanks to MVP, I now train high drive working dogs at the STSK9 facility and coach students through the MVP course.
Before diving into dog training, I worked as a step aerobics coach with women from ages 16 to 70 and as a choreographer and dance instructor for kids competing in performance teams.
That experience taught me how to break down even the most complex movements into simple, understandable steps. It gave me a deep understanding of how to explain, demonstrate and guide people through physical learning, skills I now use every day to help students succeed with their dogs. I'm excited to support you on this journey!

Why Your Dog’s Reactivity Isn’t the Problem, Your Training Is
When a dog reacts, lunging at cars, barking at strangers, chasing bikes, most handlers make the same critical mistake. They see the behavior as the enemy. They suppress, correct, and micromanage, believing that if they can just stop the outbursts, they’ll have a "trained" dog.
This approach fails every time.
Reactivity Is Not a Defect, It’s Instinct
A dog that reacts is not broken. He is doing exactly what his genetics demand: chasing movement, alerting to intruders, defending territory. The problem isn’t the dog’s impulses, it’s your inability to redirect them.
If your only strategy is “stop,” you’ve already lost.
Corrections Create Compliance, Not Commitment
Traditional training relies on force: leash pops, verbal reprimands, punishment. The result? A dog that obeys out of fear, not loyalty. He may appear trained, but the moment pressure disappears, so does his focus.
This is not control. This is coercion.
The Solution: Replace, Don’t Repress
A dog will always choose the most rewarding option. If chasing a bike is more exciting than walking beside you, he will chase. Your job is not to suppress his drive, it’s to make your side of the leash irresistible.
-
Build obsessions. Play becomes work. Rewards become non-negotiable.
-
Let him look. Exposure without reaction teaches self-control.
-
Demand engagement. He doesn’t heel because he has to, he does it because he wants to.
This is not optional. It is the foundation of real obedience.

Timeline: 3–6 Months to Achieve
You will not fix reactivity in weeks. You will not suppress it with gadgets or harsh corrections. Lasting change takes 3–6 months of disciplined, value-driven training.
This is not a suggestion. It is a requirement.
